Imagine a huge robot of the size of a giant and weighing more than 1000 kgs is suddenly transformed into a tiny computerised chip of the size of a butterfly; it actually baffles your mind and compels you to impart pressure in your meninges of the grey matter to contract and push you into the world of fantasy. The technology plays a crucial role in the development of mankind and its thriving place, so it’s the message to the whole world and the people out there to stop imagining because it is actually happening in front of us. The time now is not just relax and imagine but admire the beauty of technology and its potential to convert “THE PHOENIX” into reality.

The innovation of transforming a huge robot into a tiny butterfly size chip has already been made into a daylight reality by the US army. So the question arises that if such a mindboggling kind of technological advancement can happen then why not look forward with a new and out of the reach of imagination of mankind type of innovation. So here it is –

An AC Laptop: It is actually innovative with the idea that based on the seasonal variation and geographical separation of countries with differences in temperature this AC laptop can be used very efficiently and with easiness. The technology behind this innovation is that the size of a large split AC can be reduced to the size of a laptop battery and inserted close to it, so that it can use the power without actually covering the entire circuit. The AC windows can be placed at the four diagonal corners of the screen with a button controlled fan lauers inside it. The weight will definitely increase by some amount but that can be traded off for cool air coming out from its AC during extremely hot weather conditions in our working desk at home or office or even inside the car while driving. This will actually be efficient because the fan lauers from the AC will cool your surrounding environment in a small radius around you, so this way consumption of AC will be judicious and optimum without actually wasting the cool air to make the different parts and corners of the room cold. So this was all about the summer and hot weather, its winter time and imagine that you are relaxing inside your blanket after covering yourself with every possible acquaintance of woollen clothes around you and working on your laptop to finish off your assignments or workload of the office. The situation compels us to figure out the freezing temperature close to “zero degree centigrade “of winters particularly of New Delhi in India and Vladivostok in Russia and you press a button in your laptop, then something electronic kind of thing happens and circuit gets completed which puts the alloyed filaments ablaze and fan louvers expel off warm or hot air from your laptop. Laptop assisting you to finish off your work and simultaneously keeping you warm inside the blanket and around you, no need of a separate hot air blower or a room heater then.

ADVANTAGES:

v Very accommodative and handy.

v Efficient and optimum consumption of power.

v Avoids or prevents the loss of excess coolness given by the AC.

v Use wherever and whenever.

v Power consumption is reduced because it actually eliminates the use of a cooler, or fan or An AC in front of you in summers and hot air blower during winters.

This will certainly not wipe out the markets of AC in the world and neither it’s a kind of threat to the business of AC’s, so the BLUESTAR, HITACHI, TATA, LG and similar kind of companies should not get panicked. There is nothing extraterrestrial in this innovation but it’s their responsibility only to make this innovation lively in front of this world.

So what I think is that if man can make prototype of itself in the form of ANDROIDS or human robots then the possibility to make my innovation come alive is not bleak I suppose. What do you say??

ICICI: industrial credit and investment corporation of india, joint venture of few wealthy industrialists in 1956 collaborated together and opened up this small so called company for providing small investment support solutions and kind of banking facilities to the customers.after about 2-3 years they brought in a sister concern company called icici bank particularly for banking purpose and this performed very well in the market in terms of customer satisfaction and profit.then came the big day when a reverse merger first and maiden of its kind in the world took place when this icici bank the sister concern company ended up buying icici and grew many folds in terms of employees and capital.it was just the beginning becuse later on many more firms came into the existence like icici lombard, icici mutual funds etc.it was the time now when the insurance sector started a new revolution in the field of insurantce particularly in the private sector, but by that time lic had already captured the market claiming to be the best insurance player in the govt sector and was definately true in every respect.this joint venture of icici and prudential became very successful in the private insurance sector and the results very impressive in terms of market share and capital it had.this was just the beginning of icici and its meteoric rise globally.today as if now there are many comapanys by the name of icici viz icici bank uk ,icici bank russia ,icici bank us an d many more there after.the most important thing is that these sister concerned companys have their respective balance sheets but as we go up the ladder or up the organization structure the balance sheet comes out in the form of a aggregate or you can

say a new balance sheet which comprises of all the information  of the sister concerned companys that is all in one.

when we look at the market share of icici prudential ofcourse in the insurance sector the range is about 11.5%-12% approximately, which is the best amongst all the 21 private insurance players in india, but when we compare it with that of lic it is actually very low because lic has the hooping market share of about 51% which is more than half of joined stake of all the private market players in india.the reason being the obvious faith of general public in the government body of india as lic is a government of india body of the insurance company.this is no doubt the best choice of every common person in this country to invest and trust in such a company which is solely controlled by the governmentof india and when you gonna ask any person the answer is definately ought to be lic in terms of insurance and investments.

but this notion has to be changed and this is our goal, objective, mission whatever the name given it dosent matter.icici prudential has got immenese potential in itself and has got the most talented and technologically driven workforce worldwide that is the reason we are

on top of the ladder amonst the private players and other being the world class service   we provide to our customers.

one of the other most important challenge that we face is to change the mind set of people regarding the investments.we have to build a kind of trust in the minds of the customers and we need to make them understand that their money is in safe hands.now when we talk of insurance in general the biggest point or filed where we lag is the rural market of india where till date none of the private players have really proved their metal.the urban market already has huge amount of clutter and its almost like a foolish game to play and break that clutter,so to really make a mark and sneak ahead in this race and grab the top rank we have to have a breakthrough in the rural market.

rural market of india comprises f people having very low incomes and very low expenditure at the same time,so taking into account this data we have to come up with such an innovative product which is really going to provide them with total security and a fruitful investment plan.we need to educate them with the benefits of insurance and its importance in todays scenario.we need to tell them that insurance is like an extra stefni or tyre that we have to take along with us when we go on a long journey and in along journey god forbid uncertanities and unexpected events are likely to happen so they need to be prepared for that.gone are the days when  the son of a farmer also had to grow up and farm the

land.today every farmer in the village has the dream that his children should get the right education and  they should grow up to become great intelligent professionals in their desired field of interest.this is string that we need to pull up and make them realise that we are there to change  their dream into reality and to my knowledge its not like breaking  a mountain into pieces.we have to come up with new strategies and plans to really segment this market and then the day is not far when icici will uproot the strongholds of lic and emerge as the king of insurance companies in the country and globally.

Wind velocity reaching to the maximum of 80 km/hr completely engulfed the city of joy Kolkata and made all attempts to take away the happiness of the people of this city on Tuesday the 25th of May. Meteorological scientists are bedazzled with the damage done by the cyclone called aila, because according to their predictions and statistical calculations it had actually the potential to destroy the city substantially based on the strength of devastating velocity of its wind. It was actually the happiness and joy of the next day after the birthday of the most beautiful girl of this planet and the mood to carry on the celebrations that kicked the cyclone off its track and forced it to change its way away from Kolkata, well may be we can’t deny actually she may have something supernatural in her. The other reason can be the presence of the sundarbans and its forest full of mangrove trees that efficiently imbibed the strength of the cyclone and broke down its power by destroying it into fragments. Whatever may be the reason but this cyclone was successful in its evil intentions taking away the lives of many people and destroyed their life that lost their loved ones. It’s so ironical that many people somewhere were actually enjoying the rain and the wind of the cyclone while it was killing someone here and there. This is nature’s fury and flip side of reality that nature is a mother, but humans should know how to respect their mother and how to protect its modesty and care for her generosity. The official reports say that about 15 people died but actually the estimate is that more than 65 people died in this cyclone. The next cyclone was also on its way to jolt the city but it somehow changed its tract of approach and hit Darjeeling killing many more people. Just imagine what would have happened if the preceding day would not have been her birthday!!

Ranbaxy an all time big player in the Indian Pharmaceutical Industry and worldwide was shockingly sold off to a Japanese firm Daiichi Sankyo in a blockbuster deal worth $4.6 billion(about 15000 crore). There was an era when no one wanted to make pace with Ranbaxy in the market place.Flambouyant, aggressive, fast and furious moving -Ranbaxy crossed all hurdles and obstackles and went on winning all big games. It was almost unpredictable for everyone that the era of such a huge organisation would come to a stunning endgame even after pouring in $1 billion in sales,a record no one could deny. The company had the reputation of selling off- patent drugs and medicinesand launching its own research products in US after israel based Teva pharmaceuticals. So,to most analysts and consultants of the pharmaceutical industry,Ranbaxy’s sale to japanese company Daiichi came as a sudden shock.

Known to be one of the earliest and largest pharmaceutical company which virtually brought an end to the pennetration of multinational drug companies into the country, does the sale sounds an end of era in Indian pharmaceutical industry.Ranbaxy was like dominating king in the indian markets with weapons of lower manufacturing and selling costs which was enough for ousting and terminating the sales of other multinational’s.This can be justified by taking the example of its blockbuster drug ‘cifran’ introduced to the indian market in 1989 for just Rs 18 while the other multinationals were selling it at Rs 40 per tablet.

The picture perfect was loosing its charm and slowly the glitter was somehow going bleak as because the intense competition by the local companies made its stand wobble in the US market, situations were combursome back home with the implementation of patents act coming into force in 2005,finally its clinch in the domestic market also started loosing its grip.Ranbaxy could no longer copy and launch new drugs in India.Several other Indain pharmaceutical firms like Zydus Cadilla,Sun Pharmaceuticals started making market place less profitable.

The promoters of Ranbaxy Malvinder singh and family will sell out their entire stake of about 34.8% for Rs 10,000 crores and this is going to be the biggest sell out by any Indian company to foreign hands. However CEO and MD Malvinder Singh will retain his post of CEO and also be made the chairman.

The deal values ranbaxy at about $8.5 billion(36,000 crore) and makes Daiichi the worlds 15th largest Pharmaceutical company in the world.

“POWER IS NOT GIVEN ,IT HAS TO BE TAKEN” is the theme once again for the new RGV(Ram Gopal Varma)release worldwide. The saga of power and politics takes into the silver screen with a bang. The multistarrer movie with the splendid performance of the BACHCHAN FAMILY seems to thrill the crowd once again. The movie SARKAR RAJ known to be the sequel of previous RGV blockbuster hit the silver screen this friday and is doing well to gather crowds to the theaters every where, the biggest attraction of the movie is none other than Aishwarya Bachchan with stunning looks and overwhelming performance and these two factors are capable enough on their own to make this movie a new blockbuster for RGV.The entire storyline is magnificent and incredible with unexpected twists & surprise one wont expect, and this is the real entertainment of the movie. The movie overall shows the clear picture and reality behind the bleak and stained image of Indian politics and misuse of power by the political leaders just for the sake of fulfilling their personal aggrandizement’s.This is what movies should be like acquainting the society with the bitter truth and reality rather than wasting the time of the masses with cowardly creations of drama and romance, every time. Finally the bottomline is that this movie is certainly the blockbuster this year and apart from that its gonna give some impact to the younger lot of generation regarding their responsibilities and duties toward the country and society and would create an urge to do something like ABHISHEK BACHCHAN wanted to do in the movie for the people of Maharashtra with wise utilisation of “POWER “he had.

The proverb is worth saying that’ONE WHO HAS THE GOLD MAKES THE RULE’ and this is being made into concrete reality by the guys cracking CAT/XAT/GMAT and related entrance exams. This is the style of this new generation by which they are able to negotiate high salaries and its true  that they deserve it by all means. They are the YOUNG MANAGERS and they have that potential and credibility to take decisions that can bring in volcanic changes and there by catapult the reputation of the company to its zenith.According to the latest trend graduates from any field have only one dream to have a MBA degree but reality is that it doesn’t makes any sense ie; its not worth it that just for the sake of a degree one should just pour into some ordinary average institute and spoil his/her valuable 2 years and money but rather one should strive hard to get into top notches of the list of MBA colleges and en cash there after. This generation has some mettle and potential within and the capability to conquer the world, gone are the days when a simple graduate was the level of satisfaction for people, this generation needs more and guys are doing it.Every year almost 1200 graduates and working professionals get into the IIMs with a dream to be managers and and entrepreneurs and certainly they do change their dreams to reality. The bottom line at the end of the day is money and the proverb suits this truth’TO BE BORN POOR IS A CURSE, BUT TO DIE POOR IS A SIN’ so one should put in 100%  to abstain from this sin and work to the best of their capabilities to set an example for the coming generation. So my well wishes are with each one of you preparing to be future managers that never give up with your dreams and work hard with commitment.
